Where to wash your car
Few steps you should keep in mind as to where you should wash your car.
An area with lot of grass will avoid a runoff or could minimize it. Remember, if this area is on nature strip, avoid inconvenience to other people or pedestrians as this would be a public offence.
Only wash your car in a driveway if the wastewater is going to a lawn or garden area. If the water is going into street or drain then better avoid it.
Avoid the areas where wastewater goes to drain or storm water or you would end up with a problem or offence
Look for alternative locations if you don't have a good location to wash your car at your premises. A convenient friend or neighbor place could be better.
Runoff water is treated at some service station before it goes into drain. Some of them do provide a free car wash area. Search for such facilities at your locality.
