How and why you should wax your car?
Car waxing should be done every three to four months, just after you do your car wash. car wax helps to minimize the damage caused due to the harm caused by chemicals and it protects the paint from fading which keeps your car shining. A good car wax should always be used, after all it is only going to protect your car from climate and chemical hazards. A good car wax lasts for 3-4 months after which car polish should be applied to maintain the protective layer.
Lets look at the steps involved in car wash wax:
First of all wash your car clean with a good car shampoo befor going for car polish wax. A nonabrasive wax should be preffered to be on safer side as abrasive wax could damage the paint in some cases. Avoid waxing your cars in extreme temperature or under direct sunlight or else it could bake the wax. Choose a cool shady area or when there is no sun around.
Try to use special purpose wax sponge. Damp it a bit and dip it in wax as to get a small bit of wax on it. Now rub your car surface making small circles with your hands. If any of the wax goes to seams or corners, try to remove it with a soft cloth or a old soft toothbrush without damaging the paints as the paints are more prone to damage at the seams.
Wax your car in a predefined way so that you do not wax any section twice. Onse you finish car waxing, it is time to remove the wax. Use a soft cloth towel for the job. Start from the position where you have started. Remove the extra wax that sticks to the towel in between. Look out for all the wax left behind closely. Now use a cloth diaper or a very soft cloth to polish your car.
Now look at your car from a distance. Isn't she killing with her beauty :)
